Regular Domestic/ Office cleaning

The cost of these services ranges between £15.50 and £20.00 per hour per cleaner and includes cleaning and ironing services. These prices are subject to signing a Cleaning Service Agreement with Posh Clean UK Ltd. We require the minimum of 3 hours per cleaning visit. The Customer must agree to provide a list of all tasks, cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Posh Clean. All equipment provided by the customer must be safe and in full working order. If the customers do not have all the necessary cleaning materials and the customer may ask Posh Clean to purchase said items on their behalf. Subject to an acceptable service charge. If Posh Clean operatives need to collect keys from a third party’s address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £15 charge may be added to the price of the service. The client must understand that these prices quoted are for a standard service and does not include any additional services that may be required. Any estimates of time given for the completion of our cleaning services by our operatives, are estimates only and are based on the average time required to clean a similar type/ size property. Some degree of flexibility therefore will be required on the customer’s behalf.

One-Off Cleaning

Posh Clean reserve the right to amend any initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change. Minimum cleaning visit of 3 hours is required. The customers must agree to provide a list of all tasks, cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Posh Clean. All equipment must be safe and in full working order. If the customers do not have all the necessary cleaning materials, the customer may ask Posh Clean to purchase said items on their behalf. Subject to an acceptable service charge. If Posh Clean operatives need to collect keys from a third party’s address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £15 charge may be added to the price of the service. The client must understand that these are additional services and are therefore not included in the basic service costs.

Any estimates of time given for the completion our cleaning services by our operatives, are estimates to clean a similar type/ size property. Some degree of flexibility therefore will be required. The customer is advised that one-off cleaning may take double the length of time required for general cleaning.

End of Tenancy Cleaning

Posh Clean reserves the right to amend any initial quotation, should the client original requirements change. In addition to our regular domestic/ office cleaning service, our End of Tenancy cleaning includes the carpet cleaning, emptying and putting back in cupboards /wardrobes/ drawers, cleaning and reinstating books on shelves, washing up and cleaning cutlery for an additional cost. Due to the difficulty and the additional expertise required, walls and ceilings is not part of our service. The property must be vacated before the cleaning begins. Due to insurance difficulties we do not provide balcony, patio and external window cleaning. If the customer requires cleaning service after the building work has been carried out recently (a service known as After Builders Cleaning), the Customers are advised to specify this so the correct quote can be provided, as this service can take up to twice the time needed to successfully complete. After Party, After Builders Cleaning, End of Tenancy Cleaning or badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring general cleaning. Customers are advised to clarify which of our special cleaning services they require during the booking process.

Carpet Cleaning

Posh Clean reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed with the client prior to the start of the work. If Posh Clean operatives need to collect keys from a third party’s address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £10 charge may be added to the price of the service. All carpet cleaning prices are subject to a minimum call- out charge of £60. This may vary depending on the area to be cleaned.

Payments

All outstanding balances for cleaning services carried out (except regular domestic and office cleaning) are payable by cash, debit/credit card or cheque made payable to Posh Clean UK Ltd upon completion of the job on the day of the service. If paying by cheque, a cheque guarantee card is required and the customer will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from dishonoured cheque.

Claims

Posh Clean has a public and employers liability insurance policy. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operative working on behalf of Posh Clean. There is £250 excess of any claim. The customer accepts and understands that the poor service: breakage/ damage of theft must be reported within 24 hours from our service date. Failure to do so invalidates the customer’s claim. Posh Clean advises that the customer or a customer’s representative should be present at the time of the job completion so an inspection can be carried out and any corrections made on site on the same day. If the customer has scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been carried out. In case of damage Posh Clean will repair the item at its cost. If the item can not be repaired Posh Clean will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the items present actual cash value for a replacement from a Posh Clean source, upon payment of cleaning services rendered. If the customer is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job Posh Clean will re-clean any areas and items to customer’s satisfaction.

All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed by the customer before cleaning commences. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value , art and antique. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if our operative loose keys. Posh Clean reserve the right not to be responsible for: cleaning job not completed due to lack of suitable cleaning materials and / or equipment in full working order, hot water, power, third party entering or present at the customer’s premises during the cleaning process; wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed; failing to remove old/ permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard carpet cleaning methods; existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/ removed completely using the provided by the customer cleaning materials/equipment or standard carpet cleaning equipment; any damages caused by a faulty or not in full working order equipment supplied by the customer; accidental damages worth £50 or less; any accidental damages caused by our cleaners if the customer has unpaid balance owed to Posh Clean.

Cancellation
Regular Domestic Cleaning/ Office Cleaning

The customers must give at least 24 hours advanced notice when cancelling the cleaning visit/s. The customer may terminate the whole service by giving 4 weeks (month) advanced notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date. The customers must pay full price if the customer cancels or changes the date/ time of the cleaning visit less than 24 hours prior notice, in the event of lockout causing our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or problem with customer’s keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. The customers must pay the full price of one cleaning visit, in the case of a termination of the service giving less than one week advanced notice. The customer has the right to terminate the service without giving one week advanced notice but by giving 24 hours advanced notice before or immediately after the first cleaning visit only.

End of Tenancy Cleaning/ Carpet Cleaning

The customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time. The customers must pay 40% of the quote as cancellation fee if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less then 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Customer agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at customer’s premises; or problem with customer’s keys. If an initial deposit has been paid to Posh Clean then the customer agrees that deposit may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

Appendix

By ordering Posh Cleans service by telephone, email or Posh Cleans website the customer agrees to be bound by Posh Cleans terms and conditions.

The relevant United Kingdom law shall govern these terms and conditions, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.

Posh Clean reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice.
